3d printer usage

Sometimes people, who are not familiar with 3d world and 3d printing ask quesions like ‘what are advantages of having one?’. Those people often think, that 3d printer nowdays is a magical device, which can flawlessly print anything, like ones from sci-fi movies. And when they realize, that the thing is not that magical, they consider it a useless toy. But i find it pretty useful and by that i don’t mean printing cute figurines. Here i’ll post all useful things i was able to print.

Порой люди, слабо знакомые с миром 3д, спрашивают, в чём радость этой штуки. Многие почему-то думают, что 3д принтер это волшебный девайс, который безукоризненно распечатает вообще любую вещь, как те девайсы из сайфай кино. А когда они понимают, что принтер выдаёт далеко не магазинное качество, они начинают считать его просто погремушкой. Но по моему опыту, ему постоянно находится реальное применение, и под этим я не подразумеваю печать фигурок. Тут я буду постить все полезные штуки, котореые печатал.

New freezer challanges! Now the opposite side cracked and, more over, my fix has broken after 2 years of usage. It had thin part and i doubled the thickness.

My friends cracked one of the freezer doors.

A family friend bought his grandson an electrical ‘child car’ which you can actually sit on and drive. Some time after, one of the gears partially rubbed out, and it was not possible to buy a new one in the store. White one is orginal. pink is printed.

My dad plays hockey (not professionally) and he likes to record the game with his action camera. he asked me to make this holder, which he can put on the hockey rink wall. This holder was designed as modular: you can put bases of this holder on different sides of rink, so you can change view angle by replacing the camera while hockey gloves are on. Hockey gloves are huge, so the way you put the camera in and out should be extremely easy.

My parents have renovated bathroom, and there was no place for small boiler (in russia hot water is shut down for a week in summer for the tube maintenance), so i made a holder to put it on bathroom corner shelf.
